Tanya joined the firm as an articling student and now practices as an associate lawyer mainly in the areas of family law, child protection, wills and estates litigation and administration as well as residential real estate.
Before attending Law School, she completed her B.A. at the University of Winnipeg, majoring in psychology, and graduating with distinction.
She began volunteering and then working at the Winnipeg Children's Access Agency Inc. (WCAA) in 2003. This gave her great experience in dealing with families experiencing high conflict separations involving custody and access issues as well as grand parents' access issues. Her psychology background also helps her understand the emotional side of family, child protection and estate litigation law.
Tanya enjoys visiting with family and friends (especially in Hecla), bike riding, reading, attending local sports games and cooking.
