Cory is a litigator with experience in civil, administrative, employment, and estate law. He acts for clients on a broad range of litigation and advocacy matters, which have included him chairing trials, numerous appearances in various Appellate Courts across Canada, as well as making submissions before administrative tribunals and boards. His goal is to provide clients with a resolution that best suits their individual needs, while providing them with guidance throughout the adversarial process so that they can better understand their specific issues.

Prior to becoming a lawyer, Cory worked in a variety of fields including political election campaigns, a law firm, as well as an internship with the Truth and Reconciliation Commission of Canada. He obtained his Juris Doctor from the University of Manitoba, where he enjoyed time working and volunteering for the Legal Help Centre as well as the Community Law Centre, and was the Chair of the Board for the Elections and Referenda Discipline, Interpretation and Enforcement for the University of Manitoba Students’ Union. He received his Bachelor of Arts also from the University of Manitoba, where he majored in political studies.

In his free time Cory enjoys spending time with his family, exploring the outdoors, and focusing on his personal fitness.
