Osama grew up in Winnipeg’s South End and joined D’Arcy + Deacon LLP as an articling student in May of 2026.

Osama received his Juris Doctor Degree from the University of Manitoba Faculty of Law in 2026. During law school Osama was the Co-Founder and Vice-Chair of the Robson Hall chapter of the Canadian Association of Refugee Lawyers.

Prior to attending law school, he earned an Honours Bachelor of Arts Degree with High Distinction from the University of Toronto – St. George with a major in Political Science and a double minor in Sociology and Religion. Osama also worked with local NGOs in several capacities, including facilitating legal clinics.

Osama is a Word Pronouncer for the Winnipeg chapter of the Spelling Bee of Canada.

In his spare time, Osama enjoys playing basketball and spending time with his wife and son.
