Luke joined D’Arcy + Deacon LLP as an articling student in May of 2025 and received his Call to the Bar in 2026.

Luke practices primarily in the areas of corporate and commercial law, with a particular focus on agriculture and agri-business, including all manners of corporate and commercial transactions, corporate re-organizations, shareholder disputes, real estate, succession planning and wills and estates. Luke also has experience in municipal, regulatory, and collection matters.

Luke grew up on a family farm near Oak Bluff, Manitoba and received his Juris Doctor Degree from the University of Manitoba Faculty of Law in 2025. Prior to law school, he earned a Bachelor of Science Degree majoring in Agribusiness at the University of Manitoba. Luke previously worked with several leading agribusiness firms in a variety of capacities, including grain merchandising and crop input research and sales.

In his spare time, Luke enjoys spending time outdoors, fishing, hiking, playing hockey, and spending time with friends and family.
