Orvel L. Currie

Mr. Currie practices throughout western Canada (Ontario, Manitoba, Saskatchewan and Alberta) in the areas of corporate commercial law, municipal governance, environmental and administrative Law and real property litigation involving oil and gas interests.  He appears before the Federal Court of Canada and the Superior Courts of Ontario, Manitoba, Saskatchewan, Alberta and British Columbia.  He also appears before a wide range of regulating tribunals involving government regulations, environmental protection, permitting and licensing in Ontario, Manitoba, Saskatchewan and Alberta.

Prior to changing his practice focus in 1995, Mr. Currie practiced primarily civil litigation in the areas of personal injury, wills and estates and estate litigation.  He represented Trust Companies in Ontario, Manitoba and Alberta.  He has lectured, and published articles on Municipal Law and estate and estate litigation matters.
