B. Patrick Metcalfe

Mr. Metcalfe practices in the area of civil litigation. Called to the bar in 1975, he joined the firm the same year. Mr. Metcalfe's practice includes complex litigation, encompassing a broad range of cases in commercial and security litigation, surety and construction law, insurance law, products liability and shareholder disputes. He has appeared in all levels of the courts of Manitoba as well as the Supreme Court of Canada. Mr. Metcalfe also appeared before various administrative boards, including hearings before the Winnipeg Real Estate Board, the Labour Board and numerous community committee hearings. He has been involved in numerous judicial mediations and arbitrations.

Mr. Metcalfe has been a lecturer and participant in a number of seminars on a variety of matters including construction issues, insurance, risk management, priority issues with respect to registered securities, and basic litigation practices.

Mr. Metcalfe has also been a volunteer member of various community and charitable organizations and is an active member of Breezy Bend Country Club.

He is married and has two children.
